The Museum Tekstil’s library is a non-circulating library, whose opening hours follow the schedule of the museum. Most of its collections were acquired through donations from individuals and other museum’s supporters. A substantial part were gifts from important scholars such as Judi Achjadi and Mattiebelle Gittinger. These donations represent people’s trust on the Museum Tekstil Jakarta as an important center of knowledge and research on textiles in Indonesia.
