The Museum Tekstil Jakarta uses a 2000 m2 green space to cultivate various plants that produce dye-colors for textiles. The dye-garden is divided into a main garden and a side garden. The main garden is located behind the main building, where larger trees and most of the smaller plants can be found. A few other plants can be found in the smaller side garden next to the main building at the side of the Batik Gallery.
